The Association of Automobile Importers in Finland has 30 members, representing over 99 % of new vehicle sales in Finland. The purpose of the Association is to ensure proper operating conditions for its members over the short and long term. The Association and its experts participate in the development of legislation and in the focusing of research activities in the automotive sector. Taxation of road transport, technical regulations concerning vehicles, traffic safety and environmental questions are key elements in the work of the Association. The Association is a member of OICA (International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) and participates in the work of ACEA, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
